Life V3s Pro Robot Vacuum Cleaner Review – Design
The iLife V3s Pro resembles its sibling, the iLife V5s Pro, with the exception of a white plastic cover with white and black bumpers all around the sides. The small elevated lip on the front of the vac, measuring 3 inches high, prevents the V3s Pro from entering areas where it could become stuck.
Two three-spoke brushes which spin when the vacuum is turned on sit on either side of the device near the front, loosening debris and directing it toward the robot’s gullet. The V3s Pro, like other iLife robot vacuums, lacks a spinning roller brush in favor of a 3-inch suction opening that directs debris into the dustbin.
Under the white cover, a lunchbox-style dustbin with a bright yellow handle sits in the center of the vac. While the lack of a roller brush simplifies cleaning and maintenance, we actually noticed that the V3s Pro struggled to pick up bigger debris on a low-pile carpet.

Overall, the iLife V3s Pro performed admirably on our hardwood floor test results, picking up 99.8% of the Cheerios, kitty litter, and pet hair that we threw at it. That is the best average hardwood test result of any robot vacuum we checked. The V3s Pro performed slightly better on the carpet, cleaning up a median of 94.2% of the debris. The Shark Ion R85, on the other hand, was the only vacuum that outperformed it, with a 97.2% carpet-cleaning average.
The iLife V3s Pro cleaned the lab in an average of 1 hour, 31 minutes, and 1 second. This quick bot outperformed the iLife V5s Pro by more than 9 minutes, but stalled behind the Eufy RoboVac 11’s typical cleaning time of 1 hour, 18 mins, as well as the Shark Ion R85 (1:01). The device was also 40 mins slower than the average robot vacuum time of 1 hour and 50 seconds.
